Oh look how smart you are. You made a play button.
That is really the thing missing from the slide shows. A “play” button and a “pause” button.
Now I need to figure out how you did it.

Hi Max
First I transfered the info from the slide show onto a ‘page’ as opposed to a ‘post’.
Then I gave it a title and hit the publish button.
So far so good.
then I copied the http address from the page and created a link on a regular post- now I have a post with the slideshow link and all you do is click it and ta-da!

You are so smart. Thank you that will totally fix the rampaging site. Plus the page link will be at the top of the forum I can click it whenever I want to play with the sparkley toy. Yay!

Ok, I finally saw it. Bravo! Anita Marie, that song makes it pretty campy, thank God, because I don’t want to have nightmares tonight! I especially like the Congress of Living Freaks. What is that about?

Hi Stiletto!
I found this picture when I was doing research on the history of American Side Shows- Congress of Living Freaks were people liked Conjoined Twins, Bearded Ladies, Snake Man, Lobster Boy.
People like that inspire me to no end- so they turn up in my stories on a regular basis.
I love it when nature throws a genetic curve ball- keeps things interesting.

I had a feeling that that was what it meant! My father sends me pictures of that stuff all the time and with no explanation! Why I have no idea, I supposed it is his way of saying I love you?!!!
BTW, why do those people inspire you? Just curious!

When I see things, like a person or hear a song or see a phrase I get these ideas for stories.
When I see people like my side show folks or I pass someone on the street or meet someone who might be considered strange I get ENTIRE stories- they sort of write themselves right then and there.
Most of the time the stories don’t deal with people who talk to themselves or have claws for hands or whatever, but if I hadn’t seen them at all the story wouldn’t have happened.
I’m not sure about the how and why, but whatever kicks my brain into gear like that…I love it.
So like I said, they inspire me.

ps my husband and friends send me weird stuff too- you should see my e-mail box…I get everything from picturs of fish with human faces to news articles about graveyards from an ancient civilization full of headless bodies. Gee, I guess I inspire people too cause this is stuff none of them pay attention to under er…normal circumstances.

i shifted the slide show over. I am using a too big image to take its place at the moment but I can change it out and this was brilliant Anita thanks.
