If you’ve spent a lot of time in Funeral Homes
and Cemeteries
the obvious doesn’t affect you.
Shadows over tombstones,
crows strolling across graves
and mourners standing over old graves with the lettering worn away
are as common place in your day
as getting stuck in traffic or not being able to find your keys.
It’s the little things, the sublte things
that you see
when you wake up in the middle of the
night.

You know, it’s for this reason I envy my husband as he gets to work in such a beautiful, quiet, and plush surrounding everyday. But none of the strange, macabre, or unordinary shakes us up, for we are accustomed to it all by now.

There are worse worlds then the strange and macabre to live in, but it agrees with me. It would be fun to go back to a time when those places scared me though.
BTW loved your blog!

Cemetries have always intrigued me, mostly cos of all those unknown stories. I like to look at the names and make up tales about them. My favourites are always the weird names…….and yes, I’m one of the ones that is still easily scared!

Love it. I knew I was missing something this past year.
Well, I’m back. 🙂 So happy to see you’re still here. Sorting out my old blog, making sure all the links are still linking.
